eastern long-necked turtle

This little beauty is found in Native Hut creek which winds its way around the Turtle Bend site.

The Eastern Snake-necked Turtle lives in freshwater environments and feeds on aquatic invertebrates, tadpoles and small fishes. It is the inspiration for our beautiful pavilion and countless other projects including the annual lantern parade.

To the right is some footage taken down at Turtle Bend.
